Danish Powermetal band Lastera invited me to join as featured vocalist on the track “Larger Than Life” for their passage album “From the Ashes”.
I brought to life the character of the song in the solo passsage with a whispery and vulnerable expression in the vocal performance.
I later joined up with Emil and Oliver to record some choir tracks for the title track of the album, tracking the alto voices of the choir.
Fun fact:
Lastera drummer and composer Emil Frøsig actually wrote the drums for my theatrical metal project Ethereal Kingdom’s first EP.
Lastera vocalist Oliver Svensson sings choir on Ethereal Kingdom’s Hollow Mirror album and joined us live for our acoustic release in 2019.
I’ve also done a muscial theatre concert with Oliver back in 2017 – what a voice that man has!
